Box Trailer

A standard box trailer is open, with low sides and tailgate that opens and closes. A cage trailer is basically a box trailer with a cage on top that offers added security and stability for goods being transported in the trailer.

General purpose box trailers are suitable to tow behind most vehicles but it’s important to check the towing capacity of your vehicle before hiring a box trailer. Your vehicle's towing capacity must be greater or equal to the Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM) (combined weight of the trailer and its full load capacity when it's not coupled to a tow vehicle).
